Alternative Transport for Funerals
There are no rules as to how your loved one’s coffin is transported to the Crematorium or cemetery. Be it in a traditional hearse and limousine, or in your own car/van/truck, or in one of the many alternative funeral vehicles available.
Many people prefer the traditional motor hearse but there are now many different alternatives. Margaret Rose Funerals can make your funeral more personalised with choices that include horse-drawn hearse options, 4x4 Land Rover, motorcycles, a trike, a vintage lorry and VW Campervans – the decision is yours.
Horse & Carriage
A horse and carriage can be arranged for all Margaret Rose Funerals funeral services, to give a beautiful, natural feel to your day. Our horses are always dressed in matching covers for all funerals. We have a number of hearse carriages at our disposal and you can choose from black or white horses.
It should be noted that the distance that can be covered by the horses is limited, due to the nature of the transport, so please call us for advice and availability. We would be happy to help.
